Material Girl Class Policies: 

Please note that we now require a minimum of 3 participants to run any class.

Payment is due upon sign up. You can register in person, online or by phone.

Supply lists can be found on the details page for each class listing. Please email the shop at materialgirlcl@gmail.com to have a supply list emailed if you cannot find the list online.

Each student must have an authorized copy of the book or pattern used in class.  No photocopies or sharing.

Children or guests are not permitted.

Please refrain from wearing perfume or other fragrance as some participants may suffer from allergies to scent.

If the class requires a sewing machine, you must provide your own and understand how it works. To be fair to all students participating, instructors cannot spend class time troubleshooting machine problems.

Basic Sewing supplies including thread, pins, scissor, rotary cutter, ruler, seam ripper, etc. should be brought to class

Class will begin on time so please arrive 15 minutes early for set up.

Classes without three students registered 14 days prior to the start date will be cancelled and a full refund provided to those registered at that time.


  Refund Policy:

Refunds and/or store credits will be given if you notify us of your need to cancel a class at least seven days prior to the scheduled class date. No refunds or credits will be given if the seven-day notice requirement is not met unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist.

If we need to cancel a class due to weather or instructor illness, we will make every attempt to reschedule the class. If the rescheduled date does not work, you will be given a refund or class credit which ever you prefer.
