Introduction to Binding

Is binding a necessary evil in your quilt making process? Are you a beginner hoping to learn how to bind? Perhaps you know, but want to hone your skills? Fear binding no longer as Marilyn will teach you tips and tricks to make binding an enjoyable part of your quilt making.  You'll learn 3 great techniques including machine binding!!

1.       Kit… will be distributed the day of class.
2.      Sewing Machine with manual.
3.      Open Toe Foot/1/4 piecing Foot.
4.       Basic sewing supplies including: hand sewing needle (to use for hand stitching binding), scissors, purple thang or small ruler with ¼” marking, rotary cutter, thin pins, stiletto (if you have one), seam riper
5.       Black indelible extra fine point marker (optional)
